Booth Automotive at 964 East 10 Mile Road, Hazel Park, Michigan.

I ran into a encounter with Brett Booth. his job is to lie to people and rip them off of their hard earned money. I am in the process of building up my motor for a old school car that my dad passed down to me. I went to booth automotive because they were a licensed business who carries the parts i need. I purchased my parts while paying the full price up front and the guy who said he was the owner goes by the name of Brett Booth. He told me the parts will be in the following day. I was calling and calling got no answer so something began to become fishy to me for a person to say they been in business for 20+ years to handle business like this. After i called and called i began to go up to the booth automotive and ran into Brett he so called said his computers has been down and the parts should be there the next day. I waited the next day i called and called no answer went up there again and no Brett, building is completely closed. They say they are only open Monday-Friday from 9-4. So after work i was going up there for a week straight and no Brett, lights on you can hear phone ringing and all. For Two weeks i began to do the same routine and never ran into him. I went up there the following Monday after work after hours and went to knock on the door and look through windows he put up some little carpet to try and cover the windows but that didn’t work. I peeked through the window and who do i see in the back office hiding, Brett Booth the owner who is ripping people off. I began to knock on the window harder yelling at him to come outside and give me the parts or my money back. He didn’t come outside he start hiding under the desk. I called the police and the police arrived. I am in the process of taking him to small claims court . The local news stations are involved also. I left a note before i left and out it in the mailbox before i departed from this sneaky business. Five minutes later after leaving Brett magically calls me off his cell phone number. He begins to try and pled his case saying someone was in the building and they saw the police and my note and got it out in the mailbox. He claims he lost my whole order and my contact info and says his business has been closed for a week and a half. I didn’t buy it cause i saw him with my own eyes through the window climbing under the desk hiding. He says he will never try and play customers he been in the game to long and said the business will reopen Friday. So Friday come i am calling and calling again no answer i go up to the building and see a truck there moving everything out signs is taken down number and hours is off the building all of these signs of a thief who rips people off. I approach the guy who was moving the building and cleaning it out he says you are probably anger because it has been numerous of people who has came up here today in a rage because he told him he will be there today with there parts and money and said others also sent threats to Brett. He pleaded that he was just hired to clean the building and didn’t know the guy or was not familiar with the business besides people coming up there that day in a rage.

Everyone I know who has dealt with them has had an problem with this place it takes atleast 3 months for them to do what another place would take only a few days to do
